Call for Papers
The 24th China National Conference on Computational Linguistics (CCL 2025)
Call for papers
In response to author feedback and requests, the CCL organizing committee has decided to extend the submission deadline to May 11, 2025. Additionally, CCL 2025 now offers an expedited review process for ARR submissions (details below). We welcome continued submissions from the community!
The Twenty-fourth China National Conference on Computational Linguistics (CCL 2025) will be held August 11-14, 2025 in Jinan, Shandong, hosted by the Chinese Information Processing Society of China (CIPS) and organized by Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences). First convened in 1991 and organized by the CIPS Computational Linguistics Committee, CCL has grown over three decades to become China's most authoritative and influential conference in natural language processing. As the flagship conference of CIPS (a first-class national academic society), CCL focuses on intelligent computation and information processing of languages in China, providing the most comprehensive high-level platform for discussing and disseminating cutting-edge research in computational linguistics.

Submission
CCL 2025 accepts submissions in both Chinese and English. Accepted papers will be presented as oral talks or posters. Outstanding Chinese papers will be recommended to Journal of Chinese Information Processing (T1-class journal in CCF's High-Quality Journal Ranking) or Journal of Tsinghua University (Science and Technology) after additional review. Accepted English papers will be published in Springer's Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence (LNAI) series.
All accepted papers will be included in both the CCL Anthology and ACL Anthology.
Paper Format: Submissions must use the LaTeX template. Papers may contain up to 10 pages of content plus unlimited references. As CCL employs double-blind reviewing, author names and affiliations must be omitted. Self-references should avoid “we propose” in favor of “[Author] proposes”. Non-compliant submissions will be desk-rejected. Download template: http://cips-cl.org/static/CCL2025/downloads/ccl2025_template.zip.
Submission Website: Submit PDF files via OpenReview: https://openreview.net/group?id=cips-cl.org/CCL/2025/Conference.
Parallel Submission Policy: Parallel submission to top-tier international NLP conferences is permitted only when those conferences have similar dual-submission policies. Authors must declare concurrent submissions and, upon acceptance, must withdraw from other venues by the camera-ready deadline (June 30, 2025). CCL does not accept papers substantially similar to already published work.
CCL 2025 introduces expedited review for ACL ARR submissions. Papers with Meta Review Overall Assessment ≥ 2.5 (Borderline Findings) may submit to CCL 2025's ACL ARR Fast Track by May 30, including review comments (with Meta Review) in Supplementary Materials. The program committee will conduct expedited reviews, with decisions announced by June 22 alongside regular submissions.
