The 23rd China National Conference on Computational Linguistics (CCL 2024)

Call for papers

"The Twenty-third China National Conference on Computational Linguistics (CCL 2024)" will be held in Taiyuan, Shanxi from July 25 to 28, 2024. The conference is organized by the Chinese Information Processing Society of China and hosted by Shanxi University. The China National Conference on Computational Linguistics was founded in 1991 and is organized by the Technical Committee on Computational Linguistics of the Chinese Information Processing Society of China. After more than 30 years of development, the conference has become the most authoritative, largest, and most influential academic conference in the field of natural language processing in China. As the flagship conference of the Chinese Information Processing Society of China (a first-level society in China), CCL focuses on intelligent computing and information processing of various languages in China, providing the most extensive high-level exchange platform for discussing and disseminating the latest academic and technical achievements in computational linguistics.

Additionally, outstanding Chinese papers accepted by the conference will be recommended to the Journal of Chinese Information Processing (a T1 class journal in the Chinese Computer Federation's "High-quality Science and Technology Journals Grading List for the Field of Computer"), Journal of Tsinghua University (Science and Technology), and other core Chinese science and technology journals of computer designated by the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China. The journal will publish the paper after it has been reviewed again. Accepted papers in English will be published by Springer Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence (LNAI).

In addition, all accepted papers of CCL 2024 will be published in CCL Anthology and ACL Anthology.

Paper Format: Conference submissions must use the LaTeX template provided. Submitted papers can contain up to 10 pages of content, with no limit on the number of reference pages. As the conference adopts a double-blind review process, authors’ names and affiliations should not appear in the submitted papers. Therefore, authors should not use “we propose” but rather “the authors propose…” for self-references. Papers that do not meet these requirements will be rejected without undergoing a full review process. Download the paper template here: http://cips-cl.org/static/CCL2024/downloads/ccl2024_template.rar.

Submission Website: All submissions must be in PDF format and submitted through the OpenReview system. The submission website is: https://openreview.net/group?id=CCL/2024/Conference.

Parallel Submission Policy: This conference allows authors to submit the same paper to top international conferences in the field of natural language processing, provided that those conferences also have similar parallel submission policies. When submitting, authors must indicate that the paper is also being submitted to such conferences. After receiving the acceptance notification, authors must inform the program committee whether they will present at this conference before the final submission deadline (June 3, 2024 June 1, 2024). Once confirmed, authors must withdraw the paper from other conferences. This conference does not accept any papers that are identical or highly similar to papers that have already been publicly published.
