Call for Thematic Forums

"The 23rd China National Conference on Computational Linguistics, CCL 2024" will be held in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, from July 25th to 28th, 2024. The conference is organized by the Chinese Information Processing Society of China (CIPS). CCL is a significant conference of CIPS and is the largest community of natural language processing scholars and experts in China. After thirty years of development, CCL is widely regarded as the most authoritative, influential, and largest NLP conference in the country. With the development of computer language processing in China, CCL has become the primary forum for disseminating new academic and technical work in computational linguistics nationwide.

The thematic forum will provide an opportunity for participants to exchange ideas and views on cutting-edge technologies. Now open for call for CCL2024 thematic forum.

Specific Instructions for Thematic Forums

1. Time of Thematic Forum: July 26th, either in the morning or afternoon (half-day).

2. The theme of the forum should be concise and clear. The background should elucidate the discussion topics, issues, recommended reasons, etc. The forum theme should revolve around natural language processing.

3. Forum Moderator: The responsibilities of the moderator include: (1) Determining the forum theme and format, elucidating the significance of the forum and the target audience; (2) Inviting speakers; (3) Designing the forum agenda; (4) Collecting necessary materials for the forum; (5) Moderating the forum.

4. Selection Criteria:

A. The forum theme is distinctive and revolves around natural language processing.

B. Speakers have professional influence in the industry.

C. The moderator has high visibility and influence.

D. The application form is filled out with appropriate and complete content.

5. At the time of application, if speakers have not been confirmed, it can be left blank temporarily and supplemented later.
